During this 4 day safari, you will visit the three most well-known reserves in North Tanzania: Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park. This safari has something for everybody and is ideal for those with limited time, but who do not want to miss out on what the Serengeti has to offer.

Itinerary
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to the hotel in a close proximity to Arusha - the first safari park on your itinerary.
Note: we recommend arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) no later than 12 PM. A drive to your hotel will take 3.5 - 4 hours from JRO.
According to the rules of Tanzanian authorities, all vehicles are prohibited from driving around the area after 6 PM, so you will need to allow for sufficient time to get to the hotel before that. Upon arrival, we can arrange a lunch stop for you in a restaurant in Arusha town on the way to your hotel to rest and regain energy after a long flight
After your breakfast at 08:30 drive from Arusha with your packed lunch to Manyara park for game viewing. At 13:00 hrs take your lunch in the park picnic area, evening drive to your campsite for Dinner and overnight at Manyara. Twiga campsite.

After breakfast at 08:00 hrs drive from Manyara with your packed lunch and game enrooted to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch on your way, proceed with your game drive en-route towards Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight.

Distance covered: 157 km
On this day, you will wake up early in the morning for morning game drive in Serengeti, then back for breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, pack your equipment, and with your packed lunch drive and game en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is your option whether you pass by Olduvai Gorge a historical site whereby the early man lived and can also pass by the Maasai boma if you are interested in the real African life tradition and culture for extra costs, after your lunch en-route adds to the crater rim for your dinner and overnight at Simba Camba campsite.

Distance covered: 190 km
After breakfast, descend into the crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing. The famous Ngorongoro Crate is rich of wildlife, each species have their own territories. Your packed lunch will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or hippo pool. Late afternoon ascend the crater drive back to Arusha town for your on wards arrangement.

Rest in the hotel and transfer to the airport.
Note: Hotel check-out is at 11:00 AM. In case you need a late check-out because of an evening flight, you have the option to extend your hotel stay till 6:00 PM for an extra fee.
Tanzania is an excellent safari destination for families. The country has one of the most diverse wildlife populations in Africa, and there are countries with action-packed game drives that your children might enjoy. Furthermore, many of the destinations are quite affordable for family safari holidays. The only caveat is that Tanzania falls under Africa’s malaria belt. Thus, traveling with children under six years of age is not recommended. Many safaris have age restrictions due to safety concerns.
You must present a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the date of visa issuance to gain entry into Tanzania. The immigration officers would also require you to present a roundtrip ticket and show proof that you have enough money to cover the duration of your stay.
The great wildebeest migration starts anytime between late April and early June. And if you are interested in seeing the grand spectacle of wildebeest crossing the Grumeti or Mara Rivers, you should plan your trip around late July or early August. However, it is important to note that the timing of herd movements can vary.
