    One option is to take your canoe to the small crater lake of Lake Duluti, close to Arusha town. Surrounded by forest, this lake has breathtaking scenery and rich bird life. Spot eagles, kingfishers and darters while you glide over the water of this beautiful little lake.

      Itinerary

      The tour begins with a two-hour canoe trip around Lake Duluti. Guests will enjoy views of Mounts Meru and Kilimanjaro when on the water (weather permitting) and learn about the flora and fauna found at the lake as well as the surrounding forest.

      We will then cycle from the lake to Mangalia Waterfalls (3-5 hours total) where they can enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool mountain water. Along the way we pass through coffee farms and visit a small home-brewery where traditional banana beer is prepared.

      This experience of Tanzanian life and culture ends with lunch at a small restaurant where we have a typical local meal.
